Processor – Stock Returns Processor
Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
Job Purpose
The main responsibility of the Stock Returns Processor is to manage all returned stock, ensuring items are correctly received, verified, processed, and systematically transferred to the appropriate inventory locations.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Control
Receive stock returns from couriers, verify compliance with return policies, and reject items that don’t meet requirements.
Check completeness of returns against system records or collection documents.
Capture returns into the system and allocate to totes where needed.
Process RMA’s and Intransit Receipts, and scan serialized stock into Oracle inventory.
Clear totes and create loads on the WMS Expert RDT system promptly.
Ensure correct stock status in the system, resolve “Held” statuses, and clear Intransit locations.
Pack stock onto pallets with license plate numbers when required.
Perform transfers or deposits to the correct inventory locations and file signed handover records.
Deliver OBF and Warranty stock to suppliers for assessment.
Record and store rejections and rejections-related documentation for easy retrieval.
Process RTV’s for approved stock and prepare dispatches for collection.
Process and return rejected items to store where applicable.
Prepare invoices and dispatch tender stock.
Ensure all returns are handled without delays.
Stock Reconciliation
Maintain detailed records of all transactions for audits.
Perform daily cycle counts and assist with monthly stock counts.
Help reconcile discrepancies and support other warehouse functions as needed.
Administration
Provide completed returns documents to the Commercial Credit Department.
File documentation in line with auditing requirements.
Assist in resolving customer or channel queries.
Housekeeping
Keep accurate system records and maintain well-organized filing.
Support health and safety practices in the workplace.

Matric (Grade 12) required.
Additional training in Inventory/Logistics is an advantage.
