Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of general duties around the school premises, including:

• Performing miscellaneous duties and tasks as required by the school.
• Assisting with general gardening and grounds maintenance.
• Helping to keep school grounds neat, clean and well maintained.
• Performing basic handyman and maintenance duties.
• Supporting staff with general maintenance-related tasks when required.
• Carrying out assigned duties responsibly and within expected timeframes.
• Assisting with other operational activities as directed by management.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum educational requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric; or
• A relevant trade qualification.

Candidates must also be fluent in English.

Experience Required

A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in the same or a similar working environment is required.

Previous experience involving gardening, grounds maintenance, general maintenance or handyman duties would be relevant to the responsibilities of the position.
