The Administrative Assistant will support client services and play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships.
The position requires excellent administrative skills combined with a client-focused approach to ensure quality service, customer retention, and referrals.
Key Responsibilities
Handle general administration (filing, scanning, correspondence)
Answer calls and welcome clients
Plan proactively for upcoming months
Prepare and maintain client files
Assist with client queries, instructions, renewals, and claims follow-ups
Manage all products and office admin tasks
Schedule appointments and manage the adviser’s diary
Provide intermediary support services to clients (policies, procedures, etc.)
Maintain CRM systems and asset registers
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
RE5 qualification (required)
NQF Level 4 in Short-Term Insurance (advantageous)
2–3 years’ experience in short-term insurance
Fluent in English and at least one other official South African language
Computer literate (MS Office)
Competencies
Strong organisational and planning skills
Team player with attention to detail
Excellent client service orientation
