Minimum requirements
South African citizen with a valid SA ID
18–35 years old
Currently unemployed
Valid driver’s licence
Proof of residential address
Medically fit and able to pass Fitness Assessment & RFA
School or N2 route (one of the two):
Grade 12 with Mathematics (±50% or higher) and Physical Science (±40% or higher); or
N2 with relevant subjects for your trade:
Electrical/Millwright/Auto-Electrics: N2 Mathematics & N2 Science
Fitter/Diesel Mechanic: N2 Mathematics, N2 Science & N2 Engineering Drawing
Boilermaker/Plater Welder: N2 Mathematics, N2 Science & N2 Structural Drawing
Attend SIVOS theoretical training and complete on-the-job practicals on site
Follow safety standards and mine procedures at all times
Complete logbooks, assignments, and
trade-test preparation requirements
