BKB Ltd – Disability Learnership: New Venture Creation 49648 (NQF2)

Contract: 12-month Learnership

This learnership is designed for previously disadvantaged individuals living with a disability or impairment who are passionate about agriculture and eager to learn about fibre.

Programme Details:

A 12-month learnership programme in New Venture Creation (NQF Level 2)

Includes both classroom-based theory and hands-on fibre training

A monthly stipend will be provided in line with regulations

Minimum Requirements:

South African citizen, unemployed

Aged between 18 and 29

Minimum Grade 10 education

Strong communication and time management skills

Must not have previously completed the SAQA 49648 qualification or be registered for another learnership/study programme

Physically able to work long hours and willing to get hands-on

Must provide a medical report confirming the disability/impairment

Eligible Disabilities:

Visual impairments: Blurred vision, blindness in one eye, colour blindness

Hearing impairments: Tinnitus, hearing loss in one ear

Mobility impairments: Arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, type 1 diabetes

Mental health & emotional impairments: Bipolar disorder, severe depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder
