About the Role
RCL FOODS is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Buying Administrator to join our Grocery Division in Randfontein.
You’ll play a key role in supporting our purchasing process — ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all procurement activities.

Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12
Diploma in Supply Chain or Business Management (advantageous)
Previous Procurement or Buying experience
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Syspro system experience (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities
Buying Administration Support
Create purchase orders upon receipt of approved requisitions.
Verify correct authorization and ensure all required quotes and documentation are obtained.
Resolve supplier invoice queries in collaboration with the credit team within 48 hours.
Assist with compiling bid documents and soliciting supplier quotations.
Order Expediting
Track and follow up on all purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Identify and communicate unrealistic delivery timelines.
Monitor open orders (under 90 days) and analyze supplier performance against lead times.
Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and records.
Reporting & Data Management
Compile procurement reports and ad hoc spreadsheets.
Accurately capture and maintain procurement data.
File all procurement documentation per company procedures.
Governance & Compliance
Adhere to company ethics and procurement policies.
Escalate non-compliance issues appropriately.
Maintain process and policy integrity in all transactions.
Teamwork & Self-Management
Take ownership of assigned tasks and prioritize effectively.
Demonstrate initiative, reliability, and strong communication.
