Role Overview
We are seeking motivated, patient-focused Care Workers to join our Lenasia team.
The successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring patients’ basic needs are met, contributing to a positive patient experience and NRC’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and clean dialysis machines before each session, following NRC policies and standards.
Conduct and log maintenance checks on the unit generator, refuel when necessary, and report faults.
Follow financial and stock control policies, including waste management.
Serve patients meals according to dietary requirements and company policies.
Ensure infection control and health and safety standards are maintained daily.
Test machine alarms before each dialysis session for safety.
Stay informed on healthcare worker duties within the unit and participate in ongoing learning.
Demonstrate NRC’s core values and commitment to patient care.
Requirements
Grade 12 with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
At least 1 year of relevant work experience (renal experience is an advantage).
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, and teamwork.
Energetic, well-organised, and committed to high-quality, ethical work.
