About the Role
Unicare, part of the Clicks Group, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Cashiers to join their Front Shop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about retail and delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately process transactions at the point of sale.
Handle cash safely and follow cash-up procedures.
Scan merchandise with precision and process payments, including clubcard rewards.
Provide excellent customer service and act as a brand ambassador.
Inform customers about promotions and offers to drive sales.
Stay updated on product ranges, promotions, and store events.
Minimum Requirements
Education
Essential: Grade 12.
Advantageous: 50% pass in Maths and English.
Experience
Preferably 1+ year in a retail/FMCG or customer-facing environment.
Skills & Competencies
Strong customer service orientation.
Good communication and numeracy skills.
Computer literacy.
Ability to work under pressure.
Competencies: Following instructions, working with people, delivering results, handling setbacks.
Additional Information
Shifts run between 7am and 11pm daily, according to a roster.
May be required to work night shifts.
