GWK Retail, part of the VKB Group, is looking for a Code 10 Driver to join its team in Douglas, Northern Cape.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting and delivering goods safely and on time, while ensuring accurate loading and offloading of stock and maintaining good client service.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification
  • Valid Code 10 driving licence
  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar driving role
  • Experience in the agriculture industry will be an advantage
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work accurately and responsibly
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Transporting and delivering goods to clients
  • Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
  • Minimising risks to the company
  • Reporting incidents and accidents to management promptly
  • Monitoring the loading and offloading of stock
  • Ensuring 100% accuracy when handling stock
  • Providing good client service
  • Completing other job-related administrative duties
