Job Summary
The Liquids Compounder is responsible for producing liquid flavour products according to strict manufacturing guidelines and quality standards.
Role Overview
The Flavour Compounder/Operator manufactures flavour liquid products by following detailed work and processing instructions. The role includes preparing equipment, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring all production processes meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture Liquid Flavours
Produce liquid flavour batches according to batch instructions.
Weigh and verify raw materials.
Mix bulk products and package finished goods.
Report all non-conformances immediately to the Supervisor.
Follow safety, hygiene, GMP, quality, and housekeeping rules.
Equipment Setup
Prepare and set up manufacturing equipment as needed.
Report equipment issues immediately.
Blend and compound ingredients accurately according to instructions.
Safe Equipment Operation
Use equipment safely and according to guidelines.
Comply with AIB, HACCP, Food Safety, and legislative requirements.
Maintain consistent product quality.
Quality Checks
Perform inline checks and record results.
Note discrepancies and report them for corrective action.
Take product samples and submit them to QC.
Packaging & Cleaning
Pack and label products correctly.
Send finished goods to the warehouse.
Clean and sanitize equipment before the next batch to ensure full readiness.
Stock Control
Follow all stock management procedures.
Back-flush ingredients used in production.
Report stock discrepancies immediately.
HACCP Compliance
Complete inspections and corrective actions.
Maintain CCP documentation and records.
Housekeeping
Ensure all work areas are cleaned and maintained at the end of each shift.
Forklift Operation
Operate a forklift if required, but only with a valid forklift license.
