Are you a responsible and safety-focused driver looking for a stable role in a reputable company?
We are seeking a professional Code 8 Driver with a valid PDP to support our operations team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, is organised, and values excellent service.
Role Purpose
As part of our operations team, you’ll be responsible for collections and deliveries, conducting electricity and water meter readings at residential complexes, and ensuring the company vehicle is well-maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and deliver items (e.g., levy statements, reports, payslips).
Conduct manual and scanned meter readings (electricity & water).
Maintain the company vehicle’s cleanliness, roadworthiness, and fuel levels.
Accurately log trips and report vehicle issues promptly.
Handle parcels carefully and maintain records of all deliveries.
Assist the logistics team with ad hoc tasks when required.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12).
Valid Code B (Code 8) Driver’s Licence and Public Driver’s Permit (PDP).
Prior driving experience with a clean driving record.
Skills & Attributes
Professional, reliable, and customer-focused.
Good communication and time management skills.
Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving.
Ability to work independently and stick to schedules.
Physically fit to load, unload, and change tyres if needed.
Honest, trustworthy, and committed to high standards of work.
