Job Summary

Rola VW Malmesbury is seeking a Driver & Licensing Clerk to play a key role in delivering a premium dealership experience. This position combines driving responsibilities with licensing administration to ensure smooth vehicle handovers and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Driving & Client Service
Transport customers in a professional, courteous, and punctual manner
Collect and deliver vehicles, goods, and documentation between departments
Ensure all vehicles are clean, secure, and in a safe, roadworthy condition at all times
2. Licensing & Administration
Register vehicles and manage licensing processes within Malmesbury and surrounding areas
Handle personalised number plate applications and temporary permits
Maintain accurate vehicle documentation and control of keys
Perform general administrative and cash-handling duties as required
3. Workshop Support
Assist with basic vehicle-related tasks such as replacing bulbs, wiper blades, and PDI support
Provide support to the car wash team when necessary
4. Professional Conduct
Maintain a neat appearance and uphold company hygiene standards
Drive responsibly and comply with traffic regulations
Ensure correct parking and secure handling of vehicles at all times
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / National Certificate
Valid, unendorsed Code B (08) driver’s licence
Good knowledge of Malmesbury and surrounding road networks
Previous dealership or similar experience will be advantageous
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Customer-focused and target-driven mindset
Fluency in Afrikaans and English
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Clear criminal record
