Motus Toyota Strydom Park is looking for a Driver: Light Duty to join its Retail division in Randburg, Gauteng.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and collecting vehicle parts from customers, suppliers and other branches while ensuring that parts and vehicles remain in good condition during transportation.

This is a permanent position suitable for an individual with a valid driver’s licence and PDP, good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

The Driver: Light Duty will be responsible for delivering parts to outside suppliers, other branches, customers and other required destinations.

Duties will include collecting parts from other branches, customers and outside suppliers and ensuring that parts remain in good condition and are not damaged while in transit.

The successful candidate will assist customers when delivering parts and ensure that deliveries are handled professionally.

The driver will also inspect vehicles for defects and damage and check their general roadworthiness before use. Any damage, defects or other problems must be reported to the Supervisor.

Additional duties include checking delivery vehicles for missing parts, spare wheels and spanners, as well as ensuring that vehicles are locked and that keys are safely stored in the key box or at reception.

The successful applicant may also be required to report accidents and traffic offences and perform other reasonable duties required by the department.

Overtime may be required when necessary.
