Purpose of the Role
The Driver Logistics role exists to provide reliable driving and logistical support, assisting the storeman with collections, deliveries, and general transport needs.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and deliver materials and goods.
Procure overhead consumables.
Deliver outsourced materials/goods to suppliers for further processing.
Load and offload deliveries on-site.
Pack and load goods into containers for shipment.
Conduct pre-delivery inspections of goods at supplier premises.
Transport company employees to required destinations.
Perform ad-hoc logistical duties as needed.
Ensure compliance with SHE, Quality, Environmental, and Energy ISO standards and company policies.
Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Code 14 driver’s license (minimum).
5+ years’ driving experience.
Strong communication skills.
Team player with good interpersonal skills.
