Job Summary
Rand Water is looking for a Driver’s Aide to support Heavy Vehicle Drivers and Construction Plant Operators with day-to-day activities.
The role includes assisting with equipment handling, cleaning vehicles, maintaining the yard, and performing general duties.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / N3 qualification
Valid Driver’s License
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role/environment
Basic knowledge of rigging and slinging is a plus
Key Responsibilities
Help with loading, offloading, and transporting equipment
Perform general housekeeping and yard maintenance
Clean vehicles and assist with general operational duties
Provide support to drivers during daily operations
Required Knowledge
How to secure and tie down equipment properly
Basic understanding of rigging and slinging
Awareness of safety procedures in the workplace
