About the Role
Glencore is seeking a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant to provide professional, confidential, and timely administrative support to senior leadership.

This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations, from managing diaries and coordinating meetings to organizing travel and handling sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities

Manage calendars and schedules proactively.

Prepare meeting agendas, collect necessary documents, and ensure deadlines are met.

Organize meeting logistics, including room bookings and event planning.

Arrange international travel and accommodations, including visas.

Respond to requests for information and follow up on actions.

Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive data.

Liaise with other departments as needed.

Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Process and reconcile expense claims.

Provide ad hoc administrative and occasional personal support.

Offer backup coverage for colleagues when required.

Qualifications

Diploma/Certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or Secretarial Studies (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Experience & Skills

Proven track record as an EA supporting senior executives (Director/VP/C-Suite level).

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Able to work across multiple time zones.

Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).

Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

High emotional intelligence and business acumen.

Discreet and professional when handling confidential matters.

Adaptable, proactive, and calm under pressure.

Collaborative team player.
