About the Role

The Rooms Network is offering an exciting 12-month internship opportunity within the Office of the CFO.

This position is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about finance, eager to learn, and ready to gain practical experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.


Key Responsibilities

Executive and Strategic Support

Manage the CFO’s calendar, ensuring key financial activities and deadlines are prioritized.

Prepare reports, board documents, and presentations with precision and accuracy.

Support CFO-led initiatives such as system upgrades, audits, or cost-saving projects.

Track strategic goals, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met.

Financial Coordination

Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

Monitor important financial deadlines, including audits and compliance filings.

Develop dashboards and performance metrics for executive review.

Collaborate with finance teams to streamline reporting and data management.

Communication & Stakeholder Relations

Act as the point of contact for the CFO’s communications.

Manage correspondence, prioritize requests, and draft professional messages.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection policies.

Meetings & Governance

Organize and coordinate board and audit meetings, investor sessions, and executive events.

Record meeting minutes, decisions, and action points.

Handle travel arrangements, expense tracking, and procurement for the CFO’s office.

Uphold corporate governance and confidentiality standards.


Minimum Requirements

Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Strong communication skills (English required; other SA languages advantageous).

Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Skilled in report writing, minute taking, and stakeholder coordination.

Understanding of corporate governance principles.

Flexible to work extended hours when necessary.
