Purpose: Assist in the routine road maintenance (RRM) activities on the Bakwena N1N4 Toll Highway. This includes the highway itself, the median and the road reserve areas

Valid Unendorsed Code 08 Drivers licence for light motor vehicleAt least one years’ related experienceSatisfactory oral and written communication skills in English Interpersonal
relationship skills ▪︎ Ability to work in a team ▪︎ Physically fit to move heavy objectsUse of mechanical equipment, i.e. brush cutter, chainsaw, etc.The daily physical demands are
those required to work on the roads.If possible and allowed, it may be required of the person to drive a vehicle. ▪︎ Provide support on incidents/accidents on the route.
▪︎ The road spans over an area of ± 380km.The candidate will be required to work in all-weather conditions .▪︎ Overtime duties might be required from time-to-time.
Duties:
▪︎ Cutting of trees. ▪︎ Fixing of road of holes for road furniture posts.▪︎ Washing and cleaning of Company vehicles and equipment.
▪︎ Moving of stock and equipment in the store, general cleaning and housekeeping ▪︎Practising Safe Working Procedures and compliance with the OHS Act.
