REQUIREMENTS: ABET/Basic Education. Job Related Work Experience: Previous experience
working with wild and large animals is recommended.

DUTIES: Clean relevant workstations and disposal of infections material.
Cleaning of predator cages, stables and bomas. Removal of bedding and washing floors and walls of animal holding facilities. Maintain biosecurity standards at
workstation. Operating incinerator, incineration of refuse/waste and recording
the disposal of items. Caring for animals/birds being accommodated and
reporting problems.
Supplying of correct food stuff to animals in quarantine.
Rapid reporting of illness. Daily recording health parameters. Basic animal
husbandry. Maintenance of quarantine grounds/gardens and the perimeter
fence. Mowing lawns, trimming edges and removing vegetation from fences.
Removal of wate and foreign objects from premises. Daily inspection of electric
fence ensuring proper functioning. Assisting with clinical work and necropsies.
Assist with game capture operations. Carrying implements and equipment’s
and equipment.
Assist with necropsies and carcass incineration.
