National Diploma in Safety Management
Duties & Responsibilities
Policies and Procedures:
Ensure implementation and compliance of Company SHE policies and procedures.
Safety Management:
Assist in maintaining adherence to safe working practices.
Monitor compliance to safety, health, and environmental requirements in the workplace.
Conduct preliminary incident investigations in the workplace.
Aid in identifying potential hazards and safety issues in the workplace.
Advise on the SHE requirements for new projects.
Attend SHE meetings and perform duties of the secretariat.
Systems:
Maintain ISO14001 and ISO45001 Safety Management System requirements.
Update and maintain the SHE Management system on SharePoint.
Audits:
Assist during SHE and Risk Audits
Training:
Conduct Toolbox talks and safety awareness training.
Assist with SHE induction training.
Assist with co-ordinating emergency drills.
