About Dis-Chem Dispensary Support Learnership Programme 2024
Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an exciting opportunity available for a Dispensary Support Learner to join the team. The main purpose of this is to provide learners with the skills to assist the pharmacist in dispensing and managing front-shop operations according to industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret scripts and act in a professional and responsible manner, within the legal requirements in accordance with the South African Pharmaceutical Council.
- Provide advice to patients under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescribed medication, under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Assist with the management of stock levels within the dispensary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant dispensary environment.
- Complete all modules successfully and attend relevant training sessions as required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification
- Unemployed youth aged 18 - 35
- South African citizen
- English and a second language
- Basic mathematics proficiency
- Clear criminal record
