Duration: 24-month full-time training starting late January 2027
Format: Combination of online classes and in-person training Monday to Friday. This is a full-time course and no alternative employment can be allowed
Practical Experience: Hands-on workplace exposure at Ampath Care Centers
Locations: Training sites in Centurion (Gauteng) and Westridge (Durban, KZN)
Cost: Funded by HWSETA and Ampath Laboratories.

Requirements:
Age requirement: Under 35 years, as this is a youth empowerment and skills development initiative of the HWSETA.
Academic qualifications:
Minimum of 60% in Matric Pure Mathematics, Life Sciences/Biology, and English
No qualifications above NQF Level 4 to be eligible for HWSETA funding
Technical requirements: Smart phone/device with stable internet connection for online learning
