Key Responsibilities:
SHERQ • Ensure that team members adhere to PPE requirements. • Participate in required SHERQ meetings, interventions and campaigns.
• Conducts accidents and incidents investigations and implement necessary measures to avoid re-occurrence. • Ensuring compliance to mine standards and procedures. • Reporting of all incidents and/or near miss incidents to the relevant parties.
• Liaising with safety representatives and team members. • Conduct Safe Behavioural Observations (SBOs) and Planned Task Observations (PTOs). • Maintain and comply with SHERQ standards within the work environment. • Participate in risk assessments and investigate and take appropriate action as per identified risks.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
