Perform final Preparation of Aircraft and parts for paint strip or painting this includes the use of hand
tools and pneumatic machinery (Orbital
Principal Accountabilities:
Perform preparation of aircraft and parts
– Sanding / Masking
Acknowledge receipt and monitor movement of work in progress
Complete and sign all relevant documentation
Assist with general hangar and workshop house keeping:
– Cleaning of work area/equipment
– Equipment, spares and material movement
Assist technicians with general preparation
Qualifications & Experience
Grade 12 or equivalent
PC Literate
Knowledge and Skills
Have knowledge of the SAA Technical Organisation
Have inter-personal skills
Have knowledge of hazardous material/chemicals
Communication skills (verbal and written)
