About the Role:
Solenis is looking for a Packaging Operator to assist with the safe handling, transfer, and monitoring of chemical products while ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive chemical deliveries from Diversey and complete related documentation.
Operate a forklift (only if trained and certified).
Transfer chemicals from bulk storage to day tanks as needed, ensuring proper use of barricades and signage.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in chemical containment and storage areas.
Monitor dosing lines and pumps for leaks or faults, reporting issues immediately.
Conduct daily chemical stock checks and submit EBI and stock allocation reports accurately.
Complete and submit daily line schedules to planners.
Inspect production lines for issues such as downtime, nozzle spraying patterns, and leaks.
Clean or replace blocked nozzles as required.
Check salt tank levels and top up when necessary.
Test and record water hardness levels.
Be present during line start-up and maintenance operations.
Perform COF/drag tests, 100-bottle counts, and methylene blue testing (with ABInBev for verification).
Clean CIP tanks when empty.
