Job Overview
Rola VW Hermanus is looking for an experienced Parts Storeman to manage the receipt, storage, movement, and issuing of parts and materials within the dealership. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted workshop operations by preventing stock shortages and maintaining efficient inventory control. This position requires strong organisational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The role also ensures that parts are stored in a clean, safe, and well-organised facility and that administrative processes and payments are handled timeously.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / National Certificate
Proven experience in a warehouse, distribution, or parts handling environment
Strong organisational and time-management skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Competence in using computerised inventory systems and basic computer applications
Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Clear criminal record
Valid driver’s licence
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and materials against purchase orders
Label, tag, and store parts correctly in designated storage areas
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records
Prepare parts for dispatch, ensuring orders are complete and correct
Work closely with colleagues to meet operational and customer requirements
Conduct regular stock counts and assist with cycle counting
Comply with all safety policies to maintain a secure working environment
