Description
ArcelorMittal South Africa is offering training opportunities to individuals in possession of grade 12 certificates to be trained as process operators at Vanderbijlpark.
Successful candidates will enter a 36-month Learner’s Agreement, focusing on the steel manufacturing process. 


The training program is based on a structured outcome-based approach which includes institutional and on the job training.  Regular assessment and progress monitoring will form an integral part of the learnership program.


A contractual training agreement will apply. The bursary includes specified training cost, PPE, payment of institutional training, personal insurance as well as bursary allowance. Permanent employment on completion is not guaranteed.


Requirements
· A complete Grade 12 qualification with the following minimum criteria; –

▪︎  English 45%
▪︎ Mathematics 40% or Mathematics Literacy 50%
