We are currently seeking a Service Advisor to join our Primrose store, reporting directly to the Store Manager.
Purpose of the Role
To deliver excellent customer service at the point of sale by ensuring efficient operations, effective stock and cash management, and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage point-of-sale (POS) operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Safeguard stock and cash, minimise shrinkage, and maintain strong housekeeping and administration standards.
Train, support, and motivate cashiers to consistently deliver service excellence.
Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained in line with schedules, policies, and labour legislation.
Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
Drive Clicks ClubCard participation to achieve set targets.
Enforce security controls, returns policies, and administrative measures to reduce stock loss.
Act as a brand ambassador by delivering friendly, professional, and visible customer service.
Stay updated on products, ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate customer information.

Minimum Requirements
Essential: Grade 12 qualification
Desirable: 50% or higher in Maths and English at Grade 12 level
Preferred: Relevant Retail/Business Management qualification (external candidates)
At least 1 year’s experience in a customer-facing retail/FMCG role, with supervisory responsibilities
