Clicks Katlehong is hiring a Service Advisor to lead operations at the point of sale (POS) and help deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll report directly to the Store Manager.
Main Purpose of the Role:
To oversee and manage all activities at the POS to ensure smooth, efficient service and an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise all daily POS operations and ensure smooth functioning.
Manage stock and cash effectively to reduce shrinkage and maintain proper records.
Support and guide cashiers/shop assistants to ensure excellent service and task completion.
Schedule and maintain optimal staffing in line with company policy and labor laws.
Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Promote the Clicks ClubCard to meet participation targets.
Enforce security and loss prevention measures at the POS.
Act as a brand ambassador by delivering friendly, professional service.
Stay informed on products, promotions, and events to assist customers accurately.
Drive company values and support Clicks’ vision of being the top health and beauty retailer.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Grade 12 is essential
Desirable: 50% in Maths and English
External applicants: Retail or Business Management qualification preferred
Experience:
Minimum 1 year in a customer-facing retail/FMCG role
Experience managing teams in a store environment
Background in stock control and numeracy essential
Skills & Knowledge:
Financial management principles
Retail/FMCG operations, merchandising, and promotions
Customer service best practices
Labour law and industrial relations knowledge
Risk, compliance, and stock management
