Role Purpose
The Smart Service Consultant will work in our Outbound Call Centre, focusing on scheduling medical appointments for healthcare professionals (nurses and doctors) to complete medicals required for the underwriting process.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule client and nurse appointments promptly to support underwriting.
Handle email and phone queries while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).
Coordinate with brokers and office managers to ensure clients are accessible and medicals are completed.
Provide professional, customer-focused service at all times.
Requirements
Experience (Required):
At least 2 years of client service experience in the insurance industry.
Previous experience in scheduling appointments.
Experience (Advantageous):
Familiarity with Discovery’s internal systems (e.g., SAM & Paradigm).
Education:
Matric (required)
A related tertiary qualification (advantageous)
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
