Position: Storeman.
Location: Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
Department: Technical Department.
Paterson Grade: B1.

A Storeman position is currently available at Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park within the Technical Department. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Maintenance Officer.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Standard 10), NQF Level 4, or an N3 qualification in Inventory Management, Warehousing Management, or Stock Control
At least 1 year of experience in Supply Chain Management, inventory, stock control, or warehouse management (3 years’ experience will be an added advantage)
Proven computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Valid Code EB driver’s licence (Code EC will be an advantage)
Sound knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes will be advantageous
First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety experience will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
Procure goods and materials in line with prescribed standard operating procedures
Receive all goods and stock deliveries
Assist with managing stock, materials, and spare parts in the stores
Support the distribution of stock to all park camps
Receive, unpack, and store items neatly and correctly
Participate in stock-taking activities
Assist with asset control and management
Maintain proper filing systems and track all procurement activities
Manage tool stores, including issuing and receiving tools
Clean designated work areas according to established procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Comply with occupational health and safety policies and procedures at all times
Remuneration & Benefits
The remuneration package includes a basic salary based on the Paterson B1 grade, as well as applicable allowances and benefits in accordance with the SANParks HR Tariff Document and Conditions of Service.
