Utilities Administrator.

Contract Position (6 Months).

Role Purpose
The Utilities Administrator is responsible for managing interactions with utility service providers to ensure prompt resolution of queries and disputes, as well as the efficient opening and closure of utility accounts. The role also involves collecting essential information from service providers and key stakeholders and sharing this information across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Resolve utility-related queries and disputes efficiently
Open and close utility accounts in a timely manner
Lead the process of payments and recovery of deposits and credits where applicable
Assist with coordinating utility meter readings
Maintain progress trackers, activity reports, and supporting documentation
Liaise professionally with internal teams, clients, municipalities, Eskom, landlords, and other external bodies
Qualifications and Experience
Matric / Senior Certificate
Valid South African driver’s licence
Finance qualification or studies toward one (advantageous)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a utilities-related environment, preferably within a municipal setting or dealing with utility service providers
Strong computer literacy, including MS Outlook, MS Word, and advanced MS Excel skills
