Overview:
We’re looking for a dependable and driven Warehouse Associate to join our operations team at the Maersk Warehouse in Parow Industria.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, and movement of stock. The right candidate is detail-oriented, efficient in a fast-paced environment, and committed to safety and quality.
Main Duties:
Pick and pack products accurately based on internal and client requirements
Handle goods carefully to avoid damage and maintain product quality
Operate RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing
Follow team leader instructions and work collaboratively
Keep the workspace clean, safe, and well-organized
Assist with stock loading/unloading and replenishment
Report any stock issues, damages, or discrepancies
Adhere to all safety regulations, company procedures, and warehouse standards (5S)
Complete daily warehouse tasks according to SOPs
Requirements:
Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
Prior warehouse experience is preferred
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners is a plus
Basic numeracy and communication skills
Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused
Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends when needed
