Key Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve complex technical queries and claims.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of claims specialists.
Review and refine claims processes to enhance efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
Analyze claims data to identify patterns and recommend improvements.
Work closely with departments such as Underwriting and Distribution to address complex issues.
Perform quality assurance checks and ensure all processes meet compliance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Matric certificate
NQF Level 4 full qualification in short-term insurance (as required by regulations)
Successfully completed Regulatory Exam Level 5
5–7 years of experience in claims management, especially in personal and commercial claims
Confirmation of DOFA from the Financial Services Board
Knowledge of recovery and liability claims is an added advantage
High ethical standards and technical proficiency
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proven leadership and mentorship abilities
Strong attention to detail and result-oriented mindset
