Role Overview
As a Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience. Your duties include:
Managing the front desk and handling the switchboard.
Keeping the reception area neat and organised.
Controlling meeting room bookings.
Providing general administrative support, including procurement administration for the centre management team.
Occasionally working at the Information Kiosk (weekends/public holidays) and managing gift card sales.
Engaging tenants monthly to obtain sales figures, working closely with Customer Services Officers.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent.
3 years’ administrative experience (including switchboard management).
Retail shopping centre experience (advantageous).
Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills.
Computer literacy (MS Office).

Key Responsibilities
Receive and assist walk-in clients, visitors, and tenants.
Log and follow up on enquiries and complaints using the Call & Query System.
Support security, cleaning, and parking contractors with requests.
Manage wheelchair bookings (if applicable).
Handle auditorium bookings, post distribution, and PA announcements.
Maintain up-to-date contact information for tenants and emergency services.
Prepare letters, typing, and other admin tasks for the Building Manager.
Assist with communications to tenants during maintenance issues (e.g., aircon/lift breakdowns).
