Rand Water is inviting passionate and motivated graduates to join its Experiential Training Program. This 15-month opportunity is designed for students completing their National Diploma who need practical work experience to graduate.

🎓 Minimum Requirements
✅ Completed two years of theoretical training toward a National Diploma in:
Biotechnology
Microbiology
Environmental Science
Analytical Chemistry
✅ Must be a South African Citizen under the age of 35
✅ Must have a valid SA ID document
✅ Must not have participated in a previous experiential learning programme
✅ Must require workplace experience to complete the National Diploma
📋 Required Documents
Your application must include:
A cover letter and CV
A recommendation letter from your tertiary institution confirming you still need one year of in-service training
Certified copy of your ID document
Certified copies of your academic record and training results

🔬 Key Responsibilities
Apply ISO 17025 principles in daily work
Collect samples for water quality monitoring
Prepare media, chemicals, reagents, and samples
Perform analytical testing on water samples
Record and verify data on the company’s databases
Conduct quality control checks and equipment maintenance
Follow Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) practices and maintain good housekeeping
🧠 Knowledge & Skills
Strong theoretical understanding of your field
Good written and verbal communication skills
Computer literacy (Word & Excel)
Excellent organization and time management
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive
Willing to work after hours, weekends, or public holidays if needed
