π About the Role
The City of Ekurhuleni is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Admin Assistant to support the COID (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases) process within the Risk and Legal Services Department. This role ensures that injury-on-duty claims are handled accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with all legal and procedural requirements.
β Minimum Requirements
Matric / NQF Level 4 qualification
At least 2 yearsβ administrative experience
A COID Certificate will be an added advantage
Computer literacy (MS Office proficiency essential)
πΌ Key Responsibilities
Administer injury-on-duty (IOD) claims according to legal and procedural standards
Communicate with all stakeholders to provide updates on claim status and progress
Assist in processing annual pension increases
Help with processing payments for service providers
Maintain and update audit registers accurately
