Process cash and card payments accurately and efficiently.
Ensure all prices and quantities are correct, and issue receipts for every transaction.
Operate cash registers, scanners, and scales confidently.
Keep accurate transaction records and reports.
Greet customers warmly and assist with product location and recommendations.
Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area.
Work efficiently with the team in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Requirements
Matric (Grade 12)
2–3 years’ experience as a cashier or in a retail/sales role
Basic computer literacy (cash register, scanners, etc.)
Strong communication and time management skills
Friendly and customer-oriented attitude
Attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Ability to stand and move for extended periods
Basic sales skills
