Admin Assistant – Financial Administration (Landfill)

Department: Environmental Resource & Waste Management (2019).


Location: City of Ekurhuleni.


Type: Permanent.

Salary: R260,224 – R356,928 per annum (plus benefits).


Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12).

1-year post-matric qualification in Finance or related field.

At least 1 year of finance-related experience.

Computer literacy essential.


Key Responsibilities

Support the execution of financial operational processes.

Deliver accurate and timely financial administrative services.

Escalate unresolved service or quality issues to management.

Uphold good governance and risk management practices.

Perform debtor, creditor, and budget administration functions within the division.

Capture and process daily landfill billing, including receiving and compiling billing data.

Promote customer service excellence and satisfaction.

Foster effective teamwork and maintain positive workplace relationships.
