Position Summary:

Barloworld Equipment is seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to manage front-desk responsibilities and provide administrative support.

This role is essential in delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers and maintaining a well-organized office environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and promptly through the switchboard.

Greet visitors warmly and ensure they are directed appropriately.

Assist with general administrative duties including data entry, document preparation, and internet research.

Support the admin team with overflow tasks when required.

Handle purchase requisitions (PRs) and follow up on supplier-related queries.

Take responsibility for personal performance and time management.


Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric

Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office applications

Fluent in both verbal and written communication in the appropriate business language

Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills

Strong attention to detail, judgment, and the ability to manage stress

Punctual, assertive, and rule-oriented

SAP experience is an added advantage
