π§ Role Overview:
Support general office operations, manage reception and switchboard, process non-inventory orders, and handle various administrative tasks to ensure a smooth office environment.
β Key Responsibilities:
π Reception & Switchboard:
Greet visitors, answer phones, and direct calls/messages professionally
Maintain a tidy reception area and follow visitor safety protocols
Ensure visitors are always accompanied in the building
π§Ύ Non-Inventory Orders:
Process orders on MOVEX
Capture invoices with accurate details and submit weekly to Finance
Match invoices with departmental codes, BUM budgets, and approvals
ποΈ General Admin:
Update internal contact lists
Order stationery and promotional items
Handle emails, filing, canteen notices, name badges, and more
Support communication and document distribution
π Requirements:
Matric certificate
Admin qualification (NQF Level 5)
2+ years in an administrative role
Switchboard experience is advantageous
πΌ Skills Needed:
Excellent telephone etiquette
Strong communication & customer service
Computer literate
Detail-oriented with good numeracy and literacy
Fluent in English
