Purpose of the Role

Nedbank is seeking a Fraud Detection Administrator (Night Shift) to support forensic investigators by registering, tracking, and managing risk events.

The role ensures proper investigation, reporting, and resolution of risks in line with Nedbank Risk Management Policies.


Key Responsibilities

Record and classify risk events, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Provide administrative and operational support to forensic investigators and stakeholders.

Handle authentication of ID documents and ensure smooth payment processing for services, reimbursements, and vendor transactions.

Manage bookings (travel, accommodation, venues, equipment) for the Forensics team.

Maintain and update the asset register.

Assist with onboarding new employees.

Support compliance with governance, risk, and control standards.

Build strong relationships with internal teams and external service providers.

Contribute to cost recovery and process improvement initiatives.

Keep up-to-date with industry knowledge and share learnings within the team.


Minimum Requirements

Matric / Grade 12 / NSC (essential).

Preferred: NQF Level 5 qualification in Finance.

Experience: 2–3 years in banking or back-office operations within a financial institution.
