Job Overview
Motus VW Alberton is looking for an organized, customer-focused Administrator – Service Advisor to support the service department. The role involves coordinating customer bookings, managing service requests, ensuring smooth communication between technicians and clients, and maintaining high-quality administrative standards. The position aims to deliver efficient, cost-effective service while providing an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Communication
Respond to customer calls and emails quickly and professionally.
Schedule and manage vehicle service bookings.
Update customers on the progress of their vehicles and expected completion times.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues respectfully and efficiently.
Service Coordination
Liaise with technicians to ensure service requests are completed on time.
Ensure all job cards, service sheets, invoices, authorizations, and warranty documents are accurately completed.
Administration & Record Management
Maintain organized and accurate service records.
Assist with billing, invoicing, and internal processes.
Capture detailed customer information to maintain an up-to-date database.
Support dealership efforts to meet OEM and industry process standards.
General Support
Assist with additional administrative duties when needed.
Help ensure smooth daily operations within the service department.
Minimum Requirements
Matric / NQF 4
2–3 years experience in an automotive service environment (essential)
Experience in administration or customer service
Basic technical understanding of vehicles (advantageous)
OEM South Africa product knowledge
Good numeracy skills
Familiarity with OEM systems and internal dealership processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Additional language skills are an added advantage
