Position: Administrator (3-Year Contract)
Department: Currency Management Department (CMD)
Location: Head Office, Pretoria
Closing Date: 07 August 2025
Purpose:
To provide administrative support for planning, ordering, coordination, and supply of banknotes and coin within the CMD.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in short-term planning & execute assigned administrative tasks.
Support the ordering, coordination, and distribution of banknotes and coin.
Collect & collate data for decision-making regarding coin supply.
Engage with internal & external stakeholders to meet departmental goals.
Administer processes for withdrawn currency, including site visits for stock management.
Assist with training schedules, workshops, bookings, team-building & events.
Collaborate with Communications to create posters for training/events.
Handle travel arrangements, budget variance reporting, and general admin duties.
Ensure compliance with SARB policies, standards, and procedures.
Requirements:
National Higher Certificate (NQF 5) or equivalent.
1–3 years’ administrative experience.
Computer literacy & proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
