About the Role:
A family in Lynnwood is looking for a committed Afrikaans-speaking tutor for their 13-year-old son in Grade 7.
Schedule:
Monday: 15:30 – 18:00
Tuesday: 15:30 – 18:00
Thursday: 15:30 – 18:00
Frequency: 2–3 times per week
School Holidays: No tutoring required
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily homework
Prepare the student for tests and exams
If possible, collect the child from school (compensated at SARS travel rates)
Requirements:
Fluent Afrikaans speaker
Prioritise academic support
Own reliable car and minimum 18 months’ driving experience
Minimum one year of recent formal childcare or tutoring experience
Matric certificate
Valid South African ID
Clear criminal record
At least two contactable childcare references
A genuine passion for working with children
