Role Purpose
Air Liquide is seeking an HP Filler to handle the sorting, pre-checking, and filling of industrial packaged gas products.
This role ensures strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards while supporting efficient filling station operations.
Key Responsibilities
Follow Air Liquide safety standards and Life Saving Rules.
Promote a safe workplace and act as a SHE representative when required.
Report near misses, safety incidents, and equipment malfunctions.
Sort cylinders by gas type, fill according to specifications, and ensure proper allocation for loading.
Meet and exceed cylinder filling targets while tracking bulk losses.
Record daily production, maintain adequate gas stock, and attend DPM (Daily Performance Management) meetings.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks; assist with housekeeping in the facility.
Clean empty cylinders and ensure faulty ones are sent for repair.
Ensure compliance with food safety systems for food-grade gases (PRPs, SOPs, FSMS).
Monitor calibration of equipment such as scales, gauges, and thermometers.
Support imports/shipments and maintain accurate production records.
Working Conditions
Plant environment with shift rotations and occasional overtime.
Requirements
Matric/Grade 12 (Maths and Physics advantageous).
Technical/production knowledge and hands-on experience.
Basic understanding of gases and their properties.
Forklift operation experience preferred.
