Salary: R292,944 – R401,832 per annum (plus benefits)
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 10
Valid Code C, EC or EC1 (04) driver’s licence with PrDP
At least 1 year’s experience as a bus or truck driver
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Safely drive council buses on approved routes
Inspect buses before and after shifts, reporting any defects
Ensure commuters pay correct tariffs and the ticketing system works properly
Complete trip journals as per procedures and submit them at shift end
Assist passengers with information on bus times, tariffs, and coupons
Report route problems, accidents and complete necessary forms for investigations
Maintain order and courtesy on the bus towards passengers and the public
