Role Overview
We’re seeking a creative and enthusiastic Pastry Chef with a love for chocolate.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or those with some pastry experience to develop their skills in a professional kitchen.
You’ll work closely with experienced chocolatiers, contribute fresh ideas, and help bring our chocolate creations to life.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present pastries and desserts using chocolate to JackRabbit standards.
Experiment with new chocolate and pastry combinations.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Assist in large-scale production of chocolate-based recipes.
Support the preparation, baking, and decoration of pastries for both retail and wholesale.
Contribute to seasonal and special chocolate product lines.
Follow food safety and quality control procedures.
Operate kitchen equipment efficiently and report daily production outputs.
Work flexibly and handle pressure during busy periods.
Required Skills & Experience
Passion for pastry and chocolate.
Creativity and willingness to try new techniques.
Some pastry kitchen experience preferred (graduates welcome).
Attention to detail and dedication to quality.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Positive, proactive team player with eagerness to learn.
Culinary qualification or equivalent experience (advantageous, not essential).

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00.
Overtime may be required during peak times (with notice).
