Job Summary
PPS Short-Term Insurance is seeking a Claims Administrator to manage and coordinate administrative functions throughout the claims process for both personal and commercial lines. The role involves processing claims from start to finish, resolving queries, and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
Experience:
Previous experience in a claims administration environment.
Experience in policy administration and/or a call centre environment will be advantageous.
Knowledge & Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong customer service orientation.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).

Key Responsibilities
Process claim payments, settlements, and reimbursements accurately and on time.
Liaise with finance and accounting teams to ensure proper fund disbursement.
Deliver outstanding customer service to policyholders during the entire claims process.
Coordinate communication and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
Handle claim-related complaints and ensure quick resolution.
Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and turnaround times.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet service level agreements.
Prevent and detect insurance fraud by adhering to company procedures and compliance standards.
Maintain and build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
