Purpose of the Role

To provide client-centric reception services that support business objectives and ensure a professional, efficient, and welcoming environment within the Nedbank Conference Centre.


Key Responsibilities

Deliver excellent client service by managing front desk operations and handling calls and visitors professionally.

Support corporate social responsibility initiatives and Nedbank’s transformation goals.

Identify opportunities to improve reception and administrative processes.

Stay informed of industry and legislative changes relevant to the role.

Coordinate boardroom bookings, catering, and meeting preparations.

Manage mail distribution, deliveries, and general administrative support.

Maintain a professional reception environment and represent the Nedbank brand positively.

Adhere to governance, regulatory, and budgetary requirements.

Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships to ensure effective communication.

Contribute to team goals and share knowledge to support collaboration and continuity.


Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Experience

1–2 years’ experience in secretarial or administrative support

Technical Knowledge

Administrative systems and office procedures

Data analysis basics

Knowledge of Nedbank policies and culture (or similar corporate environment)

Business writing and communication skills

Awareness of relevant regulatory requirements
